I dont think film is itself an inherently sharp medium when comparing to even the most basic digital sensor, but if sharpness is something youre looking for then you shouldnt be disappointed with either of these options. However, Ilford HP5 is notoriously grainy. And I don't have the discipline to plan ahead, let the roll acclimatize a few hours before loading etc; I like having the option to be impulsive. Not.
